Part 7: Samurai House?? Back to the past...

Haha... recently seems a lot of things.. so didn have time to update my blog.. haha

finally... part 7 on the trip to the Samurai House... heehee

The weather was hot... Japan's sun was glaring ... worse than Singapore but thier wind is cold... so as long as u stand under a shade.. u will feel cool.. weird leh? haha

We were allowed an hour's time to walk around but is ended up Siew- san bringing us around also.. heehee.. He introduced to us some special things... which i forgotten almost totally ... pai seh.. haha .. anyway... let's see pics la.. easier... heehee


Above 2 pics are the typical houses on the street of the Samurai Houses... cute ya?? like in the cartoon then can see like this.. heehee.. supposed to be kept untouched since that Samurai Era.. but of course.. they did re- paintings and maintence..

Notice Japan houses are short .. coz Japan is an earthquake country... thus houses cannot be too high.. or else will topple and crash ppl lo.. somemore Siew- san say that during all our bus trips around... almost 70 - 80 % of the mountains are volcanos.. except some is sleeping or dead one... but there is a large numbers which are alive de... scary ...


Haha... although it is summer... i found this autumn looking tree lurking out of one of the houses... nice leh... lucky!! Japan's plants really looked different from Sinagpore de lo... much more prettier leh..

Featuring... the "Mafia's daugther" .. haha.. just joking la.. this statue photo is taken in one of the shops there... the shops there have interesting things de... not bad .. not bad..

If u look carefully... they are selling owls decor ... actually ... wherever u go... we would see owls decor a lot.. Siew-san said that owls is their sacred animals.. like us Chinese is the dragon & phoneix .. Saying about during the anicent Japan era.. the Ainu ppl live in Japan and they keep owls as pets ... due to their living areas .. there are a lot of rats.. so they kept owls to catch the rats... i forgotten why they are considered sarced and what.. i forgot le... heehee


Ok... i know this above pic a bit weird... what the hell am i doing kneeling down... haha.. actually me and my xiao gu is thinking that those puppies on the ground de is very cute... so we took a photo lol..!!


This is a shrine looking place at the back of a particular shop.. nice!!
** if anyone had been thinking.. why is there only my photos.. is because i dun know where my parents went to liao... all these photos are taken by my xiao gu... lol


Although i think that the shops are pretty interesting .. but there is some ppl who think that this is really pretty a waste of time!!!

* anyway.. tt's my 2 cousins!! heehee

ok... finally i found my mum... haha.. this wheel she is holding is cute lo... is outside a shop as a decoration de..

This cat i am standing with .. if i did not remember wrong .. is their so call god... cannot rmb ... haha.. saying that many families would give their child a chain with the god to carry around for safety..

** Actually.. is our chinese so- call de " zhao cai mao" lol.. although our version is much more modern de... so this is the origin!!!! haha

Found my dad too !! haha... standing beside is a thing i dun know what is it... lol.. the doll inside can move some gestures de.. but dun understand what it means also... anyway.. jsut a take a photo for memories... haha.. Singapore dun have this anyway...

Another peaceful looking house... really nice and clean ... haha... wish Singapore have this type of houses .. Oh ya... take a look at those pretty flowers!!!

Siew-san is explaining to us that this weird looking ball is actually storing wine!!! cool ya?? At first i thought is a bee- hive or just a decor.. haha

Our dear tour guide is telling us how much Jap ppl care for the earth..

actually is cute de lor... they seperate their rubbish into different different types and disposed them on different days de... then if found tt they seperate wrongly.. the one collecting the rubbish would put it back onto thier door step one... cool!! compared to Sinagpore... we are like not doing anything to help the earth lo... Somemore.. their rubbish is not smelly one leh... totally no smell.. no flies .. then the rubbish acutally also quite clean one... dun know how they do that also.. haha
This big big tanks is to store soy sauce one... special ya?? heehee

Lastly... this is some baby birds we found in a nest just above a pillar !! cute leh!!! these baby birds are the babies of the birds who produce bird nest de.!!! haha..

Think the rest of the entries on Japan would delay for very long cause recently busy... then lazy also.. haha.. anyway... rmb to stay tune!! leave a comment also ya??
